Flag Station.

As part of the Track Manager Solution, Flag Station is included as part of the module. Define as many flagging locations as needed, anywhere on the circuit. Coordinators log into the intuitive Flag Station interface to set and manage flags in real time — Yellow, Red, Blue, Black, and Orange Dot. The system automatically alerts flaggers the moment a driver enters or exits their assigned zone, ensuring timely and precise flag deployment for enhanced safety and race control.

· I ·
Surface Hazard

Red & Orange

Signals a slippery surface ahead — oil, water, or debris on the racing line. Drivers must exercise caution through the affected zone. The Flag Station coordinator logs the hazard location and the system alerts relevant zone flaggers automatically.

Extreme Caution

Double Yellow

Signals a serious hazard requiring significant speed reduction. Drivers must be prepared to stop and overtaking is strictly prohibited. Both flaggers in the affected zone display yellow simultaneously, broadcasting the double signal to all operators in that sector.

Extreme caution · Zone-wide
· III ·
Yield

Blue Flag

Indicates a faster car is approaching from behind. Driver must yield and allow the overtake. Automatically triggered when the Track Manager system detects a closing gap between two tracked vehicles in the zone.

Yield · Let pass
· IV ·
Mechanical

Black · Orange Dot

Signals a mechanical problem with the car that may pose a risk to other drivers or the car itself. The driver should stop at the pits immediately to address the issue. Issued from race control and directed to the specific car's current zone flaggers.

Zone-based. Automatic. Precise.

  • 01
Define Zones on the CircuitThe Track Manager administrator maps each flagging station as a geographic zone anywhere on the circuit using the interactive track map. No limit on the number of zones.
  • 02
Coordinators Log InEach corner worker or flagger logs into the Flag Station interface on any smartphone or tablet. Their device is assigned to a specific zone and they receive only the alerts relevant to their position.
  • 03
Race Control Sets FlagsFrom the central pit wall dashboard, race control selects a flag type and the target zone or driver. The system broadcasts the command instantly to the relevant flagger devices.
  • 04
Automatic Zone Entry AlertsWhen a live flag is active, the system automatically alerts the flagger the moment a car enters their zone — and again when the car clears. No manual monitoring required.
  • 05
Full Audit LogEvery flag event is time-stamped and logged against the car position at the moment of issue. The complete flag history is available to the Track Manager after each session for review and compliance.
  • 06
Automated AI Enabled FlaggingGBC removes human error from flagging at DE, SCCA, and club events. Blue flags are automated based on class assignment and closing speed; green, white, and checkered flags are automated so that safety teams can focus on the course.
